DEW is a new catalyst for complex improvement of all these three cold properties: pour point, cloud point, CFPP in Diesel oil.
SZIKKTI Ltd produces and distributes the patented extruded bifunctional DEW catalyst. The ZSM-5 containing DEW catalyst selectively cracks and isomerizes in the presence of hydrogen n-paraffins in the gas oil to normal- and iso -paraffins with lower pour point.
DEW catalyst was developed for the MOLDEW technology of MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Co. by the researches of SZIKKTI and Central Research Institute for Chemistry in co-operation with the experts of MOL.
The MOLDEW process reduces the pour and cold points of gas oil by reducing C16+ and lower n-paraffins.
DEW is insensitive to sulphur in fees, thus enabling the integration of the MOLDEW process in existing distillate hydrosulphurization units. It is possible to dewax any desired portion of distillates sent to hydrosulphurization depending on output requirements.
The MOLDEW process has been in operation in MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Co. since 1993.
This process is used with the DEW catalyst made by SZIKKTI Ltd.
